A Sports Coach and Restaurateur for over 25 years. Ron started his first radio show in 2017, High School Sports Wrap with Ron Robert on a small town radio station in Woonsocket, RI.

The show blossomed into a YouTube show and then the lil’ Rhody Sports Report on 89.9fm the Juice in Providence, RI.

Ron also became a sports writer for out of Boston, MA. In the mean time, Ron partnered up the The Sports Fan Base Network out of the Philadelphia, PA area.

Through the show and partnership, SFBN-Rhode Island was created. This is where you can now find sports blogs and articles, live-streamed sporting events, the Rhody Sports Show podcast and the Rhody Take-our Report food review show.

I am a Communications Major at Valencia College and plan to attend Full Sail University for the Dan Patrick school of Sports Broadcasting next year. I interned for Sports Talk Florida in 2018.

Since than I have wrote over 50 articles for after attending games for the Orlando Magic, Orlando City Lions, Pride, Apollos, the Tampa Bay Vipers, and of course the UCF Knights.

I have recently started podcasting for Bucs Media and Host the Set the Sails Podcast and The Sports Arena. I am super outgoing, talkative young lady who can hold her own and is beyond passionate about her love for sports!

Ron has spent 25 years as a Senior Buyer with hands-on experience in food business environments. The majority of his career he has been a buyer specializing in Seafood and other center of the plate proteins such as Certified Angus Beef. He’s solution oriented, a collaborative planner, buyer, and advisor. Using his interpersonal skills he’s built relationships with people at all levels in the business. Over the years he’s cultivated effective relationships with restaurateurs spanning from Maine all the way to New York. Most recently he was named the 2019 Sysco Corporation Merchandiser of the Year where he spent 13 years of his career. In his free time he enjoys boating in Narragansett Bay.

Since a very young age I've always had a passion in sports and filmmaking. I am a double major in Communications and Film Media at the University of Rhode Island. I currently am the Director of Podcasting for Anchor Sports Network and host my own podcast called First Things Last, a football talk show.   I've filmed highlight packages for the club of URI basketball and football games as well as been involved in numerous film productions within the university.
