Brown to join forces with Brady again in Tampa

Antonio Brown is getting another shot in the NFL has he has agreed to terms of a one-years deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers according to ESPN NFL Beat Reporter Adam Schefter. The language of the contract are being finalized along with all COVID related protocols are passed.

Brown won't make his season debut until Week 9 when the Buccaneers host the New Orleans Saints has continues to serve his eight game suspension due violating league rules.

This signing comes two months after Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that the Bucs would not pursue the disgruntled wide receiver due to his off-the field and legal problems that lead to his suspension in the first place.

The last time we saw Antonio Brown on the football field was Week 2 of last season when the Patriots played the Miami Dolphins, in what turned out to be Brown's only game played of the 2019 season and of his Patriots tenure.

Throughout his 10 year career, nine of them coming in Pittsburgh, Brown has caught 841 passes on 1283 targets. Racking up 11,263 receiving yards and 75 touchdowns. 74 of them he caught from Ben Roethlisberger, and just one from now teammate once again Tom Brady.

It will be interesting how Tampa works Brown into the rotation with weapons already like Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, O.J. Howard and Rob Gronkowski. Brown will add yet another layer of weapons as Brady has gotten off to a great start with his new team.

With the addition of Brown, it add tremendous depth for the Bucs and gives that a golden chance to take control of the division once Brown's suspension is up.

Will Brown be able to keep his mind on football and not get into any more legal trouble, could this lead to a much bigger problem down in Tampa Bay.

The Buccaneers are currently 4-2 and sit atop of the NFC South through the first six weeks of the season. The Buccaneers they pay a visit to the Raiders this Sunday, the face the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium. Antonio Brown can make his season debut after the Week 8 Monday Night Football game.
